10am-noon football training Spanish style.

12.30 -1.30 pm Lunch at our exclusive members' club: 2 courses Main + Salad + Fruit.

Return to Hotel and rest/ downtime.

3.30 - 5 pm - Beach football with supervised cool down run in the clear waters of the Med.

SPAIN CTYFC HALF-TERM CAMP 1 24-28 October 2023

“Not for one second did I regret sending my son on this trip. It was such a wholesome experience , planned and organised with love by Oscar and Co. The boys were looked after so well. They were given the right level of supervision and freedom to enjoy a beautiful country , coastline , and culture .

Obviously the football was the main thing: my son came home full of stories of the excellent coaching - they even trained with someone who had once marked Maradonna!

But on top of the sport, there was a chance for camaraderie. He had loads of fun with his team mates ; splashing in the waves , playing beach football, bonding over dinner.

It was particularly brilliant that they got to train with a Spanish team - this allowed for a cultural exchange as well as football exchange! So nice they got to meet Spanish kids!

All in all - a wonderful way to spend half term.”

“I had a really great time. It was the opposite of boring. The food was great, the coaches were amazing, and the football was quality. We had plenty of free time to enjoy the beaches and hotel facilities. I enjoyed going in the sea the most. “

I would really recommend it for next year. It was fun, exciting, energising, challenging and I feel that my football has improved. "

Thank you ⚽

I’m so glad that our son got to experience this trip. I know he had a great time because he hardly answered any of my texts, and only rang me once! (and that was because I had a moan)!?
He very much enjoyed learning the Spanish way of football, and the new skills that came with it. Even though the coaches there spoke only in Spanish, he said that he understood exactly what they wanted him to do!
The care, kindness and guidance given was amazing from start to finish, not forgetting Valerie for keeping us parents updated with all the goings on, and all the amazing pictures and videos posted throughout the trip.
Amazing!

The trip was soooo good!
It was so much fun being with the boys from football and sharing such great experiences together while making such funny memories as well.
The whole trip was great, but the highlights for me were the training, meeting ex-pro players and being trained by them. The hotel (and the pool) was so nice, food too. I really, really, really enjoyed playing football on the beach with everyone (we did some ‘sick’ slide tackles in the sand) and then having a cool-off in the sea afterwards.
It was such a good trip with everyone, oh, and the sunshine wasn’t bad either!
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to join in on this trip.
Great memories forever.

Thank you again for making it happen.

I'm so glad our son chose to travel on this exciting trip. He was a little nervous beforehand as he didn't know the group very well and he can get homesick. However, he says that he's so glad he went. I was grateful for daily updates, not just to say they'd arrived but to show they were getting stuck in to training and good food. They loved the beach and swam everyday and it seems to have been good for them to mix with Spanish speaking coaches and kids. I never worried about him while away because I knew they were in safe hands. Next year I would like to go along with them for sure! Thank you for a healthy, safe and motivating trip. A great way to spend half term.
